Walking in Love is a Verb

Many movies, video games, and tv shows have a fascination with zombies. Zombies feel nothing, sense little, lack wisdom, can’t awaken themselves, and are void of any capacity to love. Praise God that in His grace Jesus laid down His life for us, and by His Spirit, we have passed out of death into life…full life in Christ! To walk with Jesus now is to reorient our entire lives around His love and to begin to love more and more as He loves. Christlike love, however, is not an empty word, idle talk, or fuzzy feelings. Christian love is a verb! To love as Jesus loves is to love in deed and in truth, to see or hear a need and to respond, to take action, to be the remedy ourselves.
