Another Guilt Trip

Even after repentance and forgiveness, the Enemy does all he can to take us on a trip…a guilt trip. Let’s face it, it’s far too easy to jump on his cruise and dwell again on all the ugly details and doubt God’s forgiving and forgetting. It’s time to jump Satan’s ship for the lifeboat of God’s grace!

The angel declared to Isaiah, “Your guilt is taken away” (v7). Grace isn’t some soft, ethereal, flimsy entity; grace has grit, backbone, muscle. Grace is God’s right hook that destroys guilt’s power. The One in whom no guilt was ever found, carried our guilt for us so that we could live guilt free!
