Forgiveness: Taking Out the Trash Daily

Have you ever noticed how much trash accumulates in our homes every day - not just physical trash, but especially “trash from ourselves and from one another”? Hurtful words. Broken promises. Mean thoughts. Inattentive ears. Selfish choices. Regardless of what trash (sins) has piled up in our homes, or how long we’ve been storing some of them, by the grace of God that has already forgiven us freely and fully, we can take all the sins in our homes to God’s dump (the cross) and leave them there.
