That night you will complete an application with references (bring three names and their contact info with you for this step), be interviewed by a Protection Screening Team member, and watch a Protection Training class video. Plan on 60-90 minutes to complete all three steps.

Sadly, the open, trusting atmosphere of a church can make it a target for potential abusers. These protection practices are the standards recommended by insurance, risk management and volunteerism experts in today’s world.
Who needs to be screened? Anyone serving with children, youth or vulnerable adults needs to be protection screened. This includes parents who volunteer with reading groups, holiday parties or any other volunteering opportunity that puts them in contact with children, youth or vulnerable adults at St. Peter Church and School.
What if I need to be screened but cannot attend the event? No problem. You can complete the process on your own time by using the links below:
