This Fall we are going to double down on Sunday morning worship and challenge everyone to commit to studying God’s Word!
To make that happen, we are introducing new worship service times (8:45 & 11:00 am) and a dedicated block of time between for youth and adult Bible Study and a new, innovative approach to Sunday School called “Fusion.”
Here’s the new weekend schedule (effective September 20, 2015):
5:00 pm – Traditional Service (Sanctuary)
This service is framed by the historic Lutheran liturgy and uses hymns and other sacred music. Choirs and ensembles will participate on occasion.
8:45 am – Traditional Service (Sanctuary)
Using our historic Lutheran liturgy, this service is lively and powerful with its use of hymns and sacred music, often including choirs and ensembles. Typically, the preaching pastor will begin his sermon a little earlier than in the past before moving to the Life Center to preach there.
8:45 am – Encounter Service (Life Center)
As a highly relaxed contemporary service, Encounter is especially designed for people who don’t “fit” as well in a formal worship environment. Typically, the preaching pastor will arrive about midway through the service.
10:00 – 10:45 am – Bible Studies for Youth & Adults & Fusion (Sunday School) for Preschool-5th Grade
11:00 am – Traditional Service (Life Center)
This brand new service will follow the basic structure of the liturgy with hymns led by piano. The preaching pastor will start out in this service, begin his sermon early on, and then move to the Sanctuary.
11:00 am – Contemporary Service (Sanctuary)
This casual service uses Contemporary Christian Music. Typically, the preaching pastor will arrive about midway through the service.
