  1. JESUS TIME Join Pastor Paul Klopke for songs, bible story, prayer time and a craft for adults with disabilities at Meadows, 3250 S. Plum Grove Road in Rolling Meadows. Sunday, May 3, from 1:30-3:00pm. Ages 6 and up; children must have adult supervision. Project Coordinator: Pastor Paul Klopke  (Registration Closed)

     

  2. PROJECT LINUS – Make “No Sew” fleece security blankets for children who are seriously ill.   Sunday, May 3, from Noon-3:00pm in the Motor Room (next to the Life Center). Project Coordinators: Marilyn Kaddatz and Ingrid Wickboldt   (Registration Closed)

     

  3. FIELDS OF GREEN – Help beautify Busse Woods by removing invasive species and cleaning up litter. Sunday, May 3, from 1:00-3:00pm. Children are welcome for the litter clean-up. Project Coordinator: Jennifer Rooks-Lopez       Register Now

     

  4. BASKETS OF PROMISE – Put together Personal Care Kits from donated items for Lutheran World Relief. Saturday, May 2, after the 5:00pm service. Project Coordinators: Patsy Crawford and Karen Kogler   (Registration Closed)

     

  5. CARING CARDS – Write prepared and hand-made cards that let people know that St. Peter is thinking of them. Sunday, May 3, from 9:30am- Noon, in the Life Center.  Any age or ability. Project Coordinator: Debi Congram Register Now

     

  6. WORKER BEE DAY – Choose from various projects to help get Walcamp ready for summer.   Saturday, May 2, from 10:00am-4:00pm. Families welcome! Register Now

     

  7. THREADS OF HOPE – Lend a hand at Community Threads upscale resale shop at 250 W. Rand Road in Arlington Heights. Help sort, bag, greet, clean or price. Choose from 4 shifts: Friday, May 1, from 7:00-9:00pm, Saturday, May 2, 10:00am-1:00pm, 1:00-4:00pm and 4:00-7:00pm. Ages 10 and up; ages 10-15 must be with an adult on 2/1 ratio.   8. SOUTHERN STARS BINGO Help NWSRA with a Bingo night for adults with cognitive disabilities. Pass out snacks and assist participants with Bingo. Friday, May 1, from 7:00-9:00pm at the Schaumburg Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg. All ages; 13 and under must be with an adult. Max. 15.
